Welcome! As an intro, I’ll give you a little bit of info about me and this blog.
I’m currently a teacher at Exeter Township school district (Pennsylvania), and have been teaching high school Chemistry + coaching varsity softball for four years. I graduated summa cum laude from Saint Joseph’s University with a B.S. in Chemistry and a minor in Secondary Education, and also started for the university softball team for all four years of my tenure. Softball has always been a big part of my life, and so coaching and continuing to play are some of the things I enjoy most. I also enjoy reading, playing / listening to music (I play guitar – not well – and piano), writing, and being outside. In addition, I also write content for my husband’s web development company when I can.
I started this blog since I’m currently in grad school (focusing in Instructional Technology), and many of my classes have required blogging as part of the curriculum (random but I’ll rock with it \m/, ). I also figured that it would be a good idea to try to write more regularly (especially writing something other than fiction) since it definitely helps to develop a different kind of voice – one where I don’t sound so formal when I’m writing something other than stories.
